Don Rutherford, the owner, is knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and KEEPS HIS WORD (very rare these days). He and his team arrive in a timely manner, get the job done and are gone – amazing. From the permits to the insurance claim, Don can handle it all and does in a prompt and professional manner. He personally oversees his workers, although they do an awesome job without his presence. I met Don at a fundraiser about 9 years ago. He was supporting the fun run with a vendor booth. I needed a new roof after a hailstorm and talked to Don about my options. I ended up using Northwest Roofing and I paid to upgrade to Class IV shingles in the process. Fast-forward about 8 years and I was hit again with a hailstorm. This time, however, the same insurance company denied my claim. They denied the claim on their assessment the shingles had a manufacturing defect. At this point, Don was able to help me work with the manufacturer. The original vendor receipts, a few shingles from my roof, forms, etc. were all needed for submission to the manufacturer. I am lucky Don was my roofer 9 years ago. He still had his paperwork from the installation, and he was willing to work with me on this manufacturer issue. Without Don, I would have been out-of-pocket a new roof. When it came time to install the new roof, I gladly hired Don and his team again. Don worked with me on various installation options and with my schedule so that I could finish some rework of my home before the new roof was installed. I’m extremely happy with the finished work.
